IMVU didn’t make a version that would work on chromebook OS. It will only run on Windows and Macs. You cannot download programs on a Chromebook. The Chromebook is basically a portable browser with a keyboard.

Don’t set the AFK timeout too short so that you have ample time to do something else. Create an AFK channel, so that when the AFK time is out, you are allocated to the AFK channel and stay there until you are ready to come back. If you don’t have an AFK channel, Discord won’t do anything and will leave them be.

If you’re running a gaming server or channels where people DM a lot, you may have lots of logged in users but nothing happening in chat. It’s a better option than kicking them after a timeout and keeps them in the server until they are ready. That’s why you create an AFK channel.

Your Discord server may become slow and unresponsive if there are a lot of people on the server at the same time. It may make sense to kick users out temporarily who are inactive but there is a better way, creating an inactive channel AKA, the AFK channel.

Click the name of your server at the top left, above all your channels, and select Server Settings in the menu that appears. In the Overview tab (default), scroll to the AFK section and set the AFK Channel to the channel you just created and the AFK Timeout to whatever you like.
